In early May police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle car crash. Two people were hurt in the wreck, one of them reportedly suffered critical injuries. According to reports, on May 5, the driver of a sedan failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of W. McNeese Street and Nelson Road and, as a result, struck an SUV.
